Digging Deeper
In 2011, when we took our first steps towards organising a conclave of value investors, there was a sense of trepidation as well as hope. After conducting two successful events in 2011 and 2012, we are experiencing similar feelings as we embark on the third leg of our journey.
While we are buoyed by our previous pleasant experiences, we are also feeling that the event should chart a new course. While the first two events offered a bird's eye-view of various topics close to our hearts, this year, we are experimenting with digging deeper into fewer ideas.
The prime reason for this is that we believe that over the years, all of you have evolved as investors and are seeking meatier content at niche events such as ours. While you, no doubt, enjoy it when accomplished speakers reiterate the timeless principles of value investing, it is the application of such principles that may stir you even more.
Hence, this time, we have invited a cross-section of industry practitioners encompassing a variety of sectors and themes. We hope that their experiences will provide you with the granular details essential to strengthening your arsenal and enable you to emerge as a more informed investor.
