    Key Responsibility Areas:

    • Ensure smooth functioning of the investment limit monitoring module in the front office system.
    • Review and test the investment rules set in the front office system periodically.
    • Monitor investment limits and submit periodic reports to the Compliance / Investment Committee and Boards of the AMC & Trustee Company
    • Monitor and analyze portfolios for stress testing as mandated by SEBI / internal policies.
    • Analyze investment risks associated with the various schemes of PPFAS Mutual Fund and present the analysis along with performance risk analysis, risk ratios, etc. to the Investment Committee, Risk & Compliance Committee and Boards of the AMC and Trustee Company.
    • Monitor and ensure front office compliance such as confirmation of deals over recorded lines, prohibition on use of cell phones in dealing room, etc. Ensure and monitor compliance with the risk management system mandated by SEBI.
    • Coordinate with internal/statutory auditors and ensure timely completion of risk audits.
    • Ensure effective implementation of various risk-related internal as well as regulatory policies adopted by the AMC.
    • To be able to assess and report the risks pertaining to all the departments of a Mutual Fund
    Liaises with:
    • Internal Departments ( Operations, Fund Management, Marketing and Compliance)
    Candidate Profile:

    • With 3-4 years experience in risk/investment compliance functions.
    • Has completed CA / CS/ FRM (preferable).
    • Is familiar with current risk management practices applicable to AMCs and MF compliance.
    • Has excellent communication and drafting, interpersonal and persuasive skills and sound knowledge of numbers and technology.
    • Is a team player and a self-motivated person who is ready to take on additional responsibilities when called upon.

    Key Responsibility Areas:

    • Downloading all daily reports received from Fund Accountant, Custodian, PCM and CAMS.
    • Sending letters/Deal slip/Instructions to Bank, Custodian, PCM, Fund Accountant etc.
    • Monitoring Margin requirements and transferring funds for the same, Fund Transfers for Redemptions, Pay-in / Pay-out etc.
    • Checking & uploading daily Posting Control files in Mfund system
    • Checking contract notes and Providing trade and other details to Fund Accountant
    • Portfolio Valuation
    • Keeping track of Corporate Actions & timely accounting of the same
    • Calculation of NAV in excel format
    • Providing NAV and other details to Management
    • Preparation of Cash Flow for various pay-in / pay-out, Subscription, Redemption etc.
    • Reconciliations of Subscription, Redemption, Switch in/out register, Bank, Demat and CSGL accounts.
    • Providing Scheme related details to SEBI, AMFI, RBI, Auditors etc.
    • Preparing documents for Bank Account opening, Internet banking etc.
    • Preparation of utilisation reports
    Desired Skills and Competencies:

    • B.com / M.Com
    • Minimum 2/3 years experience of Back office operations with any Mutual Fund/Portfolio Manager/Broking Firm
    • Should have a basic level knowledge about RTA activities.
    • Should have knowledge of Advance Excel
    • Good Communication skill in English (Verbal & written)

    • Experience of at least 5 years in related activities in the securities market including in a portfolio manager, investment advisor, research analyst or as a fund manager.
    • Out of this at least 2 yrs of experience working in a PMS or in the field of fund management.
