Role Summary
We are looking for a highly analytical and technically strong professional to manage business data requirements, build internal data structures, and develop scalable BI reporting solutions. The candidate will act as a bridge between business teams and technical systems, ensuring accurate, timely, and structured MIS and analytics delivery.
The role requires strong expertise in Oracle, SQL, Power BI and foundational knowledge of Data Warehousing concepts.
Key Responsibilities
- Understand and review existing database structures and schemas
- Translate business requirements into structured data models
- Build and maintain in-house data models using Power BI or similar tool.
- Develop complex Oracle, SQL queries for data extraction and transformation
- Design and optimize fact-dimension models
- Work closely with business stakeholders (Sales, Investment, Operations, Compliance, Marketing)
- Ensure data accuracy, validation, and governance controls
- Identify gaps in current data architecture and propose improvements
- Support automation of MIS reporting processes
- Collaborate in future data warehouse migration or ETL activities
- Document data definitions, logic, and reporting structures
Required Technical Skills
- Strong hands-on experience in Oracle, SQL (mandatory)
- Experience in Power BI (DAX, Tabular Model, Data Modeling)
- Understanding of Data Warehousing concepts (Fact, Dimension, ETL basics)
- Ability to create optimized queries and performance tuning
- Experience in handling large datasets
- Understanding of database normalization and schema design
- Exposure to data governance & validation processes
Good to Have
- Experience in Mutual Fund Services domain
- Knowledge of SharePlex / replication systems
- Basic ETL tools knowledge
- Python for data processing
- Exposure to cloud-based BI tools
Qualification
- B.Tech / BE / MCA / M.Sc (IT / CS / Data Science)
- 4–8 years relevant experience
